Hello, my name is Keith Smith and I am a full time resident in Holden Beach. It is my hope that we can honor our past while building a successful future to enjoy this paradise we call home. Despite the fact that things are changing, and the way things used to work need to be justified, there is a way to move forward together. As a group, we have a common goal of leaving this place of paradise in a better state than when we found it. Whether you are preserving landmarks of the past or preserving the sand of today, the common ground is preservation; one does not have to eliminate the other. It is possible and necessary to do both in a fiscally responsible manner. In honoring those who have gone before me and building upon their achievements, it is my mission to build a better future for Holden Beach. While perfection is not achievable in this lifetime, progress towards a defined set of goals is a good measure of success. With these thoughts in mind, I respectfully request your vote and support to be elected as a Town of Holden Beach’s Board of Commissioner in 2025.
